Based on a sketch that I did earlier in the year that featured my signature cat, JAC, but chasing a bird. Having recently completed 'Shakira' which already featured a bird I thought I'd go back to my classic 'cat after a butterfly' idea that I've painted variations of several times before. As this work was destined for a real world exhibition of my art I thought it fitting that at least one work represent my 'classic' JAC image.
