JAC the cat just loves butterflies. Which is why I've painted him so often trying to catch them. This smaller work is an exercise in starting with a blank canvas, drawing a cat head somewhere on the surface then seeing what I can create around it. No prior sketching, no under drawing. Just paint and a will to just 'see what happens'.
